This mulch is derived from the leaves of the sugar cane plant where they have been evenly chopped with some of the dust extracted using fine filters. It is 100% organic and slowly breaks down to enrich the soil with mutrients and organic matter and helps to promote earthworms in the soil. It improves moisture penetration and retention by up to 75% and helps to control weeds by creating a protective blanket over the soil.
