Remember for roadbase, clean fill, sands and soils – we sell in a loose cubic metre form. Over time and/or through placement and compaction this will reduce in volume, and so you need to allow for that when you order from us. With roadbase for example, generally you will need about 30% more in loose form than you have calculated.
